| Got a Honda 250R, and cant get it started. I think its because of the valves, but iv never done anything with them b4. any tips?? |

| If you have the manual, it's easy. You'll need feeler gauges of course, but otherwise, it's a very simple job. Just take your time and make sure you are at TDC, and you should be good to go. |

| yah, my crf250r is always having this problem. starting it is wicked hard, and it backfires ocassionaly. But its a really easy job, all you need to do is just follow your manual and use feeler gauges. Last edited by motoracer712; 02-27-2009 at 06:17 PM. |

| Keep in mind that 4-strokes can be notoriously difficult to start. I am not saying your valves might not need some TLC but it's very unlikely they are far enough out to keep it from starting unless there was a mechanical event that caused damage. Scott |
