Default Honda crf250r Hard to start when cold. Runs when warm.

Hey! I have a Honda crf250r 2004 the bike runs smoothly and is in perfect condition but the only problem I have that if I try to start it it usually takes me around 10 kicks maybe more to get it running. When its warm it kicks first try. When its cold I turn the gas on, the choke, twist the throttle maybe 2-4 times am I doing something wrong? or is something wrong with my bike

I can think of two possible issues (one of them has two possible causes):
1a: Low compression (piston). If it's been a while since the bike had a top end done, it could be low on compression. A leak down test will check this. Air will escape past the rings and down into the crankcase.
1b: Low compression (valves). When was the last time the valve clearances were checked? Check them and set them if necessary. This will also show up in a leak down test with air escaping past the valves (hissing out the carb/boot for intake, out the exhaust for exhaust, or possibly both)
2: Jetting. As an engine warms up it will prefer a leaner mixture. Check your jetting (which includes a float level check) and try the following starting procedure: crack the throttle two to three times before attempting to kick it over cold. Pull the choke out. Find TDC and go JUST past it. Give the bike one firm, swift, and complete kick through the stroke.

That bike has an accelerator pump in the carb to start when cold. Before you start it you should twist the throttle several times like you said before starting. Kick it a couple times. If it didn't start twist it a couple more. Then kick it again. Sometimes those go bad. My old RMZ's I had to twist 8-10 times. The other issues above could be the problem but I'd try that first, then move on to those.

I would bet it is the intake valves leaking and need service or replacement along with having the valve seats cut.
