Default Help with FCR throttle stop setting

I just finished rebuilding a Keihin FCR from an '06 CRF450 for a friend
who let the bike sit with a tank of VP U4 over the winter. I cleaned
the goop out of al the passages including the accelerator pump
(confirmed those passages were clean with compressed air), and
finished the rebuild with an OE kit.

The bike still refuses to start, I have spark but I suspect their is
still a problem with the fuel side of the equation. The carb was
handed to me as a collection of parts in a box. The bike ran fine
before sitting unused for many months.

Does anyone know what is a good baseline (number of turns out)
for the throttle stop screw? The slide is all the way down now
and I don't want to crack the throttle while starting because of
flooding caused by the accelerator pump. I also don't want to
adjust the slide too high and get a run away.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I just searched all the manuals I have and I can not find any where that it lists what the default throttle stop screw setting is. It only says 1700rpm when running. Sorry.

Thanks for checking though. I ran into the same thing, it must be a secret.
I could turn the throttle stop screw in on my '04 and count the turns, but
that bike is stored about 3000 miles away, so it wouldn't be that easy and
I'm all out of CRFs locally.

Maybe I can take a screwdriver to the Honda dealer and while nobody is
looking - whoops, they are fuel injected now

One possibility is to disable the accelerator pump and get the bike started,
set the throttle stop then re-attach the accelerator pump. Might work or
might make an even bigger mess.

The fun of four strokes.

If the local honda shop is anything like mine, they will still have an '08 on the floor/
