Default Free Easy Mods for CRF100

Anyone know any cheap and easy mods to an CRF100? Any "free" mods? My cousin is coming up this sunday to ride and I want to set his bike up for him good and work on it.

Remove the cork from the end of the exhaust pipe, help him set his sag, and depending on how bad the air box is, you could probably modify that some to make for some better flow to go with the new free'r flowing exhaust. Don't forget to check the jetting though if you do the airbox or exhaust as it might need some adjusting. Good luck.

What Woody said

If you allow for extra airflow (airbox) or greater exhaust flow (de-restricting muffler) then you will require larger jets to accomodate this and gain maximum performance from the mods.

That depends actually. Sometimes, the free'r flowing will allow the air speed to increase so much that it sucks more fuel through the same sized hole, which is why you need to just check and see. What aus said is true most of the time, but can go the other way too.

On my Son's XR50, I had to go smaller. When they are really corked up, that is usually the case I've found.
