 CRF450 Spark Plug?? Which can I use? Im going to do a parts order tonight and I noticed that the recomended spark plug for my 2003 CRF450 costs $14. It is the NGK IFR8H11. It is expensive because it is a "Iridium" spark plug. Are there any cheaper ones that will work for this bike that are the non-Iridium or something? Or will only this one work? Thanks-               |

| Re: CRF450 Spark Plug?? Which can I use? I'm sure there are others that would work. I'd just stick with what Honda recommends though. $14.00 is a bit price for a plug, but it isn't like you are changing it every day. |

| Re: CRF450 Spark Plug?? Which can I use? I don't know if their is a different one you could use either, but I still have the stock one installed and it's been 2 years. They last a long time. What I am doing, as I read this is what you should do... check it, and only once it's out of spec (the gap is too wide or whatever) then replace it. Do not re-gap it. So far it's been within spec. |
