![]() Don't guess it could be a float level situation could it. Hard deceleration slamming the gas forward in the bowl with the fuel level too low??? Just thinking out loud ;-) |

![]() Yep....turn your idle up. I was stalling a bunch on tracks and turning my idle up helped a ton. What helped even more was installing the JD kit. Then the airbox mods made it almost stall proof. If the idle adjustment doesn't work great, try the other 2 and I'm sure you'll be happy. ![]() |

![]() Could be a little rich, the float out of adjustment, or the idle too low. I know my XR manual says my idle should be 1500 and that's rather high for a woods bike.. but it doesn't stall either lol. |

![]() i used to run my idle very high also and it helped with the stalling when braking into hard corners. however, it aslo made it very difficult to start when hot. the JD kit and a 42 pilot fixed the problem. |

![]() I think turning the idle would help out too, my bike is way hard to crank with the idle turned to far down. Idle her up a little bit and give it a shot! |

![]() You guys attribute hard starting to high idle? What the heck are you talking about, and how high did you turn it? I'd guess mine was at 1000-1200, and I've moved it up to 1500-1800 range and I have NO hard starting problems cold or warm (in fact it's easier when it's warm/hot). |

![]() only had probelms when staring the bike when hot with the idle turned up. otherwise it didnt make a difference except the annoying BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR humming. |

![]() Thanks for all the replys, I turned up the idle and it has'nt stalled since.Its not hard to start.Starts about the same as before. |
