Question chains, chains chains.....

got 04' CRF450 and I want to change the rear sprocket to a 50 from the stock 48. How many links do I add??? one for each tooth more on the sprocket???

Anybody with an 03' with stock 13, 50 sprockets tell me how many links their chain is???

Anybody with an 04' change there spockets out yet??? if so, what did you go on the rear???

First gear just too tall!!!

Yep, yardpro hit it on the head again, and beat me to it.

BTW, what kind of riding do you do that 1st gear is too tall if you don't mind me asking?

Well I haven't rode any tracks with it yet, which stock gearing would probably be ok. But some trails going slow or some rutted hill climbs it could stand to be a little lower. I'm sure if I put a 50 on the back it would be ok for tracks too.

I am sure it will be fine. I was just wondering if you rode in tight technical woods or not.
