Default 2016 crf250r issue yesterday

Hi all. Im in need of some input concerning my completely stock 2016 crf250r. i was out riding yesterday with some friends. Trails, jumps, drag strip, etc....the bike had run perfect for a couple of hours. I had stopped to let a friend catch up and when i went to take off the bike stalled. It restarted on second kick but as soon as i hit the throttle it died again. Restarted on first kick and ran good for 10 minutes until i had to stop and wait again. As soon as i went to give it a little throttle to take off it died again. restarted right up and then ran fine. This happened four or five times. I am a pretty good wrench but new to the world of FI. Also the red fault indicator light never alerted to any problem and always showed solid red for a second after restarts. Gas was full and fresh 93 was being used. all other fluids were fresh and correct levels. Any help would be much appreciated.

It could be vapor locking due to engine heat reaching the fuel tank. They do make heat underlayment for fuel tanks.

thanks pawpaw. I have been reading up on that and I believe that is a very good possibility. The bike has never given any trouble till then. It was 90+ that day and the bike was rode the way it was intended to be......hard. A buddy that was with me that day called a stealership mechanic friend and he told me that the intake valves may be adjusted too tight. i guess it wouldnt hurt to check but i doubt that is the issue.
