Are you going to stay at the same compression?

Are you really going to replace the connecting rod? Normally you don't need to do that unless it's worn out and needs replacing. It will last through a few pistons for sure.

OEM is always a good choice. Personally when I did my CRF450, I went with a JE and I liked it quite a bit. But I'm sure others would have been fine too. For me it was about the one that gave me the compression I wanted, while not breaking the bank in the process.

yeah i wanna stay at the same compression beacause i dont really have lack of power beacause of a hot cams stage 2 and an exhaust system. and im pretty sure its better if i replace the connecting rod cause ive been riding with the same one for about a year now. and ive actually heard good things about the JE pistons but im not sure for what to go on the crank. are the wiseco crank kits any good?

Agreed!! Or rebuild the OEM crank with a Falicon rod, balanced and welded.

Infinitely better than a cheap Chinese crank kit and probably in the same price range.

BTW...how are you Tony??

For little more than a stock crank and rod you can go with a hot rods stroker crank if your wanting more power.
