| Does anyone have any advice on lowering an 05 CRF 70? I have a 5 yr old and would like to lower it at least a inch or two |

| The best thing is to cut the seat foam if only needing a inch or so. The suspension has such little travel, would be expensive to do, and he will grow into so fast I am not sure it would be worth it. If you do the seat you can pull the seat cover, cut a slab (electric fillet knife works great) take a section off as clean as possible and re-staple the seat cover back down. Draw lines on both sides with a sharpie and follow it perfectly. Once he grows you can get some 3M Super 77 spray adhesive and replace the piece so it returns to the original shape. |
