I wish I could give you one, but I have not installed mine yet.

As they look in the box, they look awesome. But that's as much as I can say at this point.

I have them on my 450r and they look great but it has not stopped raining in Oklahoma so I haven't got to try them out yet. The guy at cylce gear told me they were a lifetime warranty.

I went to Cycle Gear today to purchase and discovered that the Acerbis hand guards will not fit because of the diameter of the bar at the clamp mounting point. Gotta have the hand guards to protect those levers.

Yeah, I have heard that.... for me it wasn't a concern, but for those needing/wanting to run hand guards it might not work out.

You can run those bars and wrap style handguards, you just need to get triple clamp mounts for the handguards. The triple clamp mounts are far superior to the type that clamp to the bar anyways. GYT-R used to sell the triple clamp mounts (not sure you'd want a Yamaha built part on a Honda though ) but I think they discontinued them. I think Cycra is the only one offering a triple clamp mount anymore- you could by the mount kit from Cycra and use the Acerbis Rally Pro's with it.

Cycra triple clamp mounts- $35 on Cycra's web site. Woody_YFZ may be able to get you better pricing.

This I know to be true... If I hadn't installed new grips on my old bent bars, I would have them installed already.. but being the cheapo that I am, I have to wear the grips out first... or at least get more than 2 rides on them.

I do love the pillow top grips.

FYI, Cycle Gear is giving the clamps and hardware free(about $60.00 value) when you purchase these bars for $99.99 great deal. I think this sale ends May 22nd.

Oh wow, that is a good deal.

The only problem I've had to date is the hardware didn't fit my RMZ -- I called and they said it was the right size... we'll they don't fit -- which is why they aren't installed yet. I now have some Pro-taper mounting bolts that do fit... I thought that was kinda funny.

grabit Bit the bullet

Well, I purchased the bars and installed them. They look great. Also put the triple mount Cycra clamps on and low and behold the Acerbis hand guards fit and seem to be a lot stronger than the original Acerbis bar mounted clamps-great suggestion Cowboy- The only concern I have is that the bolts that go through the bar clamps are a little short they do not thread the whole locking nut when torqued to specs. My son is heading to the track this week and will post how he likes them.
