Anyone Use Bar Inserts?

Anyone have experience with bar inserts to reduce vibration? Chime in and let me know.

Nope I have never tried them myself, I know one guy that has them and says they work real well, but no first hand experiance here.

Running them in my 01 cr 250 and love them. They really reduced a large amount of the vibration transmitted to my hands and have helped reduce the numbing of my hands. Worth the 50.00 bucks for sure. Not sure how they work on a steel frame bike though.

Just throwing it out there I know the bar inserts are cheaper, but wouldn't rubber mounted bar mounts do the same?

I was told by a reliable source that the best anti vibration setup they've used so far was that new pro taper rubber mounted tripple clamp (yes they have'em for YZ's now) with pro-taper bars cut down the vibe's more then those inserts and better than the RG3 tripple clamp. Yes this person has so much bling they tried all 3 back to back. Transworld just did a review of them on thier website.

It's just the little rubber billets inside the triple clamps on the Hondas. I scrapped those babies and got the Fastway alluminum billets to keep from bending the bar clamp bolts when I crashed.:
BTW, Riding a Honda isn't painful. It's when you stop riding it that hurts.

Ditto, on my kx125 too. I hate my rubber mounts just a simple tip over and the tweak. You can straighten them back out but the rubber cones are junk after one twist, bc they get deformed. And yes i've bent a bolt on em too. and the local dealer tried the billet cones, but they did not fit worth a crap on his kx250, so i baught a pro taper p-3 upper clamp.

Stock KX bar mounts are JUNK! The whole top clamp is now part of my moto junkyar...I mean 'outsider art' collection
