Default Maico 620 vs 685 MX

I'm leaning towards buying either the 620 or the 685 MX Maico I've read on a couple places that the 620 is actually more aggressive than the 685, that the 685 is mellower and has sort of a tractor feel compared to the 620. If that is true I would rather have the 620. Does anybody know if this is really true? Has anybody ever rode or known somebody that has ridden both? I haven't been able to find a lot of information about the differences between the two or even the 500 Some information would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Contact Maico only,Rage Racing,Northwest Maico
Also You can go to Maico sites Like Maico Madness
Howard could probley tell You about the 490's
But is most likely lost on the 620,685,700
cause they are so rare in our area

Here's where you want to go as some of these guy's have them.

I think that Jim McCabe or Tobby Opferman have some expericence with them & maybe Chris Kosin.

I know that at one time ATK was giong to sell them as ATK's & I heard that the 620 was a rocketship as it would rev out & the 700 (680) was tuned for all low end torque.

I also know that you will spend lot of $$ for one & that you will have to double check every thing on the new Maico's, you might be better off look for a M-Star or a Maico SC 500 from the late 80' to the early 90'

But call Eric Cook at Maico Only 909-947-1121

Unfortunately I found out that the importing process is quite difficult and expensive so I'm trying to find an ATK here in the states.
