Husky CR250 2002 throttle won't turn.

Need advice:
Just picked up a husky cr250 2002. Throttle will not twist the bike has been sitting for 2 or 3 years. Just wondering if any one can tell me or suggest where i should start looking to get it to work. The bike still has the stock tires on it and sprockets and there is very little wear.

I bet it's the throttle cable... After sitting for a while they like to get all rusted up... I'd suggest you pull the cable off and make sure your throttle tube moves freely and then check the slide in your carb to see if it's moving freely. If both of them move freely you would have to assume that it's the cable that's hung up... If so, go and get yourself a new cable... Can't be much more than 20 bucks...

Found the problem,a mouse ate through the air filter and built a nest in the air boot and in the mouth of the carb causing the throttle not to twist because the nest was right up against the slide and the mouse waste caused it to oxidized.Runs like a champ now cleaned the carb,jets etc. changed the gas and fired it right up.
