| I am not really trying to dawg the big bores. Like I said, I have been riding them for years. I am 6 ft. and 235 pounds and it used to be that I needed all that power, but now that I have been riding my 02 YZ250, I really havent found a hill that I cant climb on it. There have been a few straights that I have been on where I thought "man, I could really use another gear or more power", but the straight runs out and I am glad that I didnt get my hands vibrated by the big bore. The biggest reason that I cannot, or rather Dont ride the big bores anymore is because of two shoulder surgeries and a neck that is in need of surgery. With the vibration of the big bore my hands go numb in about 30 seconds, on my 250 I can ride for a lot longer without as much vibration or stress on my body. Not to mention that my 250 has had the suspension done up by Race Tech and rides way better than any of my old big bores did. |
