 1986 husqvarner 250 problem need help when i start the bike it revs out of control like the throttle is stuck but its not stuck.just finished restoring the bike.any suggestions?  |

| Re: 1986 husqvarner 250 problem i had the same problems with my yz250, different model, but sounds like the same problem, its too lean. start small and check to make sure the slide in the carb. is seating properly, and that ur throttle assembly is not binding. Go thru and clean the heck out of the carb with carb cleaner. if that doesn't work then maybe you could check your jetting and idle adjustments, set them to stock (given in your Manuel if you got one...). could also be a leak, extra air getting into the motor... -nic |
