1986 Husqvarna 400xc

Hello,
l brought the above of a guy who said the pre mix ratio was 32:1
he was not sure how to check the gearbox oil level or what/how much to put in,which made me want to check what he said about the mixture also.
lve had a couple of older Huskys and seem to remember holding the bike at 12 o clock and "eyeing" the oil level to lines on the caseing.........or was that the IT or PE................please help.......snow gone need to go for a blat.
