Worst crash - I feel your pain Moto-man - I was riding Saturday practice at Cycleranch before a GP last January - last moto of my day. Coming into the catcher's mitt double (30-40 ft uphill double - not huge), guy on an old CR decided to roll the double and cross right in front of me. I hit the brakes - hit the face of the second half of the double, endo'd, and lawn-darted head first into the face of the jump. Crushed the T6 vertebra...that really sucked. Wore a brace for about 3 months, couldn't ride for 6. I drove my happy self home that day, tho

I still thank God I decided to buy a PCS neck brace about a month before that one - I am positive that thing saved me from being in a wheelchair. My helmet was destroyed, I could hardly stand, but my neck was 100% fine.
Other than that, nothing big - broken several digits (fingers and toes), but those are no big deal.
Coolest wreck I have ever had was on a snowmobile (since I know some of you ride sleds). I was riding in the mountains outside Buena Vista, CO - doing some hillclimbs in a big backcountry bowl. You know - riding as high as you can, then leaning way over and whipping the sled around and back down. I got a huge run at the hill (nearly vertical cliff, really) - made it about 90% of the way up, leaned way off the sled toward the uphill side, cranked the bars around, and the sled proceeded to go airborne. Launched me off towards the downhill - but it was so steep, I could not stop myself. As I raced down the hill on my belly, I remember vividly looking back and up as the sled (an ElTigre 6000 for those who remember late 80s Arctic Cats) did several barrel rolls in the air, thinking "Oh sh*t - that thing is going to land on top of me." I tobogganed down as fast as I could, and, miraculously, the sled landed upright behind me and coasted to a stop in the bowl, still running. I climbed back on, unhurt, and rode on. Cowl never fit quite right after that one
