Last january, i was involved in an accident, which resulted in a concusion and later found out that i have MTBI (mild traumatic brain injury). I've been going to hypobaric treatment for a few months now, and have improved in cognitive functions, memory, etc... almost feel back to normal finally! the doctor said that i need to stay away from activities that have a potential for bangin my head again. i have a good helmet and evs brace that i wear when i ride. what are the chances of endin up worse than what i was, if i get another concussion? thanks

That really is a question for the doc,And I guess it really comes down to what you want,Brain injurys are scary things and can make a profound change in your life or end it if you injured it again. And Macho is right....If you keep riding you will crash again,it's just part of our great sport. Good luck and stay safe!....Jerry

It's inevitable that you will knock your noggin again if you ride. From what you describe, I would be inclined to find another recreation for a while. Your injury sounds pretty severe. I would not risk it until your doc says you are healed up. Scott
