Keep that will power strong in your mind. The advantage you have is Tracy quit too and that has to be a plus. Besides, you two can be cranky together!!!

Great news... Are you going to bring it with you just in case?

I haven't met you yet, and you know what they say about first impressions.

Good job on the quitting! I am going on a month using the patch, that Chantix stuff is way to expensive. Seeds helped me greatly, suckers, candy. Keeping busy in the garage and my house is big as well. I do have one swisher sweet cherry cigar after dinner though, however they are to harsh to inhale so I think its okay, not hacking up a lung and I dont smoke in the mornings or during the day so its off to a decent start. Keep up the good work, I am going to have to give up my new love of cherry cigars as well, but god, after dinner I just have to have one!!!

Well Kev... you've inspired my mom.

She picked up some Chantix the other day and is going to wait until after her surgery to start. I think you guys need to come back to Texas...she'll need a nurse, Tracy.

Just think of how much more money you will have now and how much longer you will live.

Puffing on a stogie never made much sense to me. It's like taking a drink of beer, swishing it around in your mouth and then spitting it out.

Yeah Kevin how long did you last anyway! I smelled some smoke in my truck on the way out from the national. I grilled my wife about letting people smoke in my truck during rescues in the desert and she said that they didn't smoke in my truck but that they...............Kevin & Tracy smoked outside my truck and then got in smelling to hi heaven and wanted to close the window to keep the smell in my truck. My nose never fails me so........................how long did you last? Next question was that an isolated incident for Tracy or is she back at it too?

I am one guy you will ever get past when it comes to smoking. I can smell the slighest hint of it anywhere. I can smell people in front of me while driving on the freeway smoking and I hate it!

In the future no smoking in or around my truck and no riding in my truck after a cig unless you wait 1 hour.

HE MADE ME TELL HIM YOU GUYS. I TOLD YOU HE WOULD SMELL IT. Then he saw the post where dawgcatcher passed out cigarettes to those who were needing them. Dane, we could say it was a VERY traumatic day Sunday for some of us. I mean really, Kevin almost got sacraficed to the vultures, Tracy was missing for so long out in the middle of the bare, God-foresaken Mojave desert, Robert was tired with no lunch. I won't go into the woes of the rest of our rescue party. It was smelly though but I wasn't going to say anything unless you could tell. I thought we had you too.

Sorry you two.

Hey, a little slip is okay. Just get back on that pony and ride her to the finish line. You CAN do it.

Keep it up Kev. I quit years ago, it gets easier the longer you go. just never give in to the temptations that you'll be put in!
Tip: Excercise is a good alternative.

good luck with quitting - it took me a couple of times to quit but i finally did it. Re read ipaintu post from before. i believe that his is accurate - at least for what i went thru it was. convince yourself somehow that nothing will get you to smoke. the mental addiction is harder than the physical no doubt. GOOD LUCK
