if you`re nervous-that`s good...some people show up at the races not expecting to win...these same people are allready beat-they don`t even get nervous if they`re last outta the gate...i like getting to the gate early....so i can chew on my gloves-haha

I am always a little nervous out of the gate and to the first corner, then I seem to calm down, but I am constantly reminding myself that I am just riding for fun and don't do anything stupid that will hurt me. I generally finish middle of the pack, but it's a blast doing it.

When I was racing 200c I was nervous the first race but after I won the first race I calmed down a lot. Then at the end of the year I had the championship wrapped up and moved to 250A for the last two races and when I was sitting on the line I couldnt keep myself from shaking. I personally like having my adrenaline pumping because it makes me feel as if I am fearles and I think I ride faster. By the way I am 16 I cant race the vet classes like you old guys LOL.
