Thumbs up Knee report

It’s been almost 4 weeks since surgery (3 more days). The leg brace is now officially off when I am at home but I still have to wear it when I am out and about. I see the Doc next week and I am hoping to get a smaller brace (or none at all) instead of this full length thing. The quads are still week but improving rapidly.

Movement is already over 120 degrees. My physical therapist called me a freak today. I told him I had an unfair advantage of over 25 years of leg conditioning. Most things he has had me do are very easy. He has bumped my weights and resistance way up now though. He put me on the little incline to stretch the calf muscles and I looked at like what is this supposed to do? He just shook his head and had me sit down and pull my toes back with a strap instead. I am actually enjoying PT, I know I’m sick.

It is going well, ahead of schedule so far. I just got to remember to take it easy and not do too much too soon. I have a tendency to push things their limits to soon.

Take it easy and thanks for all your support!

MWV,
Great to hear taht the knee is going well. And you ain't the only one that likes PT. Those people are miracle workers. No pain, no gain and pain is weakness leaving the body.
