Good one!!

My personal experience, when I am serious enough....

If I don't eat after 3-4pm (pick a time). I seem to maintain a steady weight loss. I did great for a while, but just like everything else, if you cave a little and its over!

Generally I am a very healthy eater. No fast foods, no fried foods, lots of veggies & grains, I have only drank water for years now. Special occasion (a few times a yr) I may have a sprite w/lemon.

With the exception of milk, I LOVE MILK!!!!

While breaking a sweat I will drink the occasional sports drink.

Good luck to you!!! I know its really hard to commit to something and even harder to stay committed!

Stay Tuff!

I missed a few post above so I'll reply tommorow. Its getting late and I need to finish paperwork from today.
So I did my Monday weigh in

Last week was 215
Tonight was 209

I'm super stoke and motivated. Theres a difference though. I used to hate eating salads and all the greens but now I find myself reaching for the fruits instead of the sugar stuff. My whole family is being super supportive and are helping me out in ways I can't believe. They went out and bought all sorts of fruits, veggies and took most of the fattening stuff out of the kitchen. Its great! I did screw up today and drank a Coke but a customer offered it to me so I didn't want to be rude. That was 50 extra situps.

Dane and I have not set up a date yet but I did get after him for sneaking that brownie this weekend.

Deb, I wanted to know if yall at the Rovers needed some help with the MX race coming up. I decided not to race it and would love to help you guys out. I was thinking we could start the contest then : offical weigh in and all that.

Don't forget the scale this time!

Thanks again everyone.

Congrats Kevin. Sounds like you have a good support system set up to keep you on your toes. Good luck and keep us posted on what is going on.

I have lost a total of 17 pounds with 23 more to go to meet my first goal. I will reassess when I get there and see where I am at.

How is everyone else doing?

Great job Kev!

As for myself, I've done cardio for at least 30 minutes/ 3x a week for the past two weeks. My goal for right now is to keep consistent at that. A lady we know is a personal trainer at the Y and she's offered to show me the machines and help set up a weight routine.

Our biggest goal for the next month is to eat at home more often. We've been so busy that by the end of the day we (I) don't feel like cooking and it's so convenient to just grab something.

I was 165lbs when I met my wife, now I'm at 210-225lbs. I'm only 5'6"

I've been trying to lose weight again for years, I say again because I was once 220 and went down to 165 right before I started dating my wife. I feel like I could ride so much better if I was in better shape but I have a desk job and commute so I have almost zero time.

You have my support and maybe we can support eachother.
