You know I also think that visualization is a good idea, and not just in feeling better, but everything you do. Next time you want to hit that jump picture it in your mind, see yourself doing it pefectly because where the mind goes the body will follow (usually). When you are lifting weights, picture yourself pumping out a perfect set and feeling great. On the opposite end you have the self fulfilling prophecy of negative feelings and emotions. I can't emphasize enough how powerful our minds are, and how our state of mind, and ways of thinking affect us, for better or worse.

Are you saying I'm going to clear the 90' table?

man, there have been some good recommendations here. woody is right on about the vitamin supplements, and i'd include zinc in the mix as well. green tea is also an excellent idea, not so much for any kind of speedy recovery necessarily but the stuff is just plain good for you. the key is that it's got to be real, brewed green tea ... not the 'arizona green tea' you can buy in jugs (although that stuff is tasty!). one thing i'd add to the list is some breathing routines. practice breathing deep, holding it in, and exhaling slowly. do plenty of 'range of motion' stretches with a deep breathing pattern to start instead of getting right back into the swing of things with any kind of high impact/heavy load bearing activites.

get better so you can get some mesquite lovin' in!

green tea is loaded with antioxidants which assist in muscle recovery. might also try some creatine.
by the way, finally got my bike back together after rebuilding everything. went for a sweet 20 min ride in about 6 inches of snow (15deg.F). the powerslides and roosters were awesome!
should the piston keep clingin' around in there? seems it got worse as the ride went on.. i didnt go over 1/2 throttle..
first 10 min. was a warm up 1/8th idle, then cooled.
then 10 min. slow riding, up to 1/2 throttle, then cooled
then 20 min. faster riding w/ 1/2 throttle. it was during these last 20 min. that the piston seemed to be pingin more frequently..

Reverend,

If it's "pinging" that is a sign of detonation. Probably to lean due to the colder weather. You might want to try richening the jetting before you go on any more snow excursions.
