| I prefer water because I can just fill up a bottle with nice cool rain water from our tank. I asked my mum to buy 2 Red Bull's to try. To be honest I didn't really notice much after drinking it. But it sure did taste nice! |

| i guess alot of potassium is not good for the body. something to do with urinarry tract or something like that. i dont know but if it helps, i am willing to try anything once. if it does taste bad, i would dilute(SP) it more with water, just have to drink twice as much and pee more LOL thanks guys |

| I guess maybe some in small doses would be fine. Maybe 16oz's of it diluted with water, and everything else water. Don't want that urinary tract having trouble |

| i was at an nmra track and they were giving out a drink called burn. it was pretty good, you have to shake it up before you drink it which it wierd because it is carbonnated, oh well, but it tastes like pineapple. gives you a lot of energy boost. i doubt an of you know this but in new zealand wihich is where im from, their red bull is about two times stronger so it says only one bottle a day. i currently live in the us though |

| I like the no fear drinks, or red bulls. Drink about 5 red bulls get you going all day. |

| I am somewhat of a Coke fiend--no, not that type I once tried some super sports drink while doing strenuous work and I thought I was going to faint and throw-up from it. It was a horrible experience. Just this week, however, someone recommended Sobe and I tried it. I figured, hey, if they want to sponsor SX and MX I will give it a try. The stuff is great and it works like jet fuel in my physiology. I would drink the stuff daily, except that it is a little expensive. |

| I have small chidren too and don't really want to drink that pedialyte. I didn't even want them to drink it either. Doctor's orders. My friend is an athletic trainer and told me that most sports drinks or energy drinks have too much sugar and too much sodium. He recommended diluting them with equal parts of water. I saw a picture of Destry Abbott drinking children's pedialyte and I almost threw up. I heard that desert racers drink it before they race. Memo to the rest of you: You don't push yourself to the limits like they do so downing the pedialyte isn't necessary for you. All you need to do is swing by the truck and take a few swigs of whatever and proceed with your riding. |

| Water is the best (life sustaining), but the Sobe drinks do have vitamins and "other" good stuff in them. Read the Nutrition Facts to find out which has what in it. |

| I am a runner, and as a rule of thumb if your pee is clear you are over hydrated, if it is amber you are dehydrated. Shoot for light yellow. You should only consume 8-10 ounces of water every 20 minutes of intense activity. Most people over hydrate themselves during activity thinking they are "cooling" or rehydrating their body, but infact they are doing more harm than good. Gatorade is a good for replenshing electrolytes that your body extinguishes after strenuous activity of 90 minutes or so, water is all your body wants otherwise. |

| I have only ever tried Red Bull and V energy drinks. By the sounds of a few replies in this thread I should try SOBE. But for camelback, water is the go IMO! |
