Can you recommend a fitness program for endurance racing?

A lot of sex comes to my mind. But given the fact I get the sweet pootang quite often and im still 10 lbs overweight, it probably wont help as much as I wish it did lol

I suggest doing alot of cardio. Run every day, ride a bike, and also work on muscular endurance. If you can train and condition your muscles to withstand race pace at a long period of time you'll be way better off than just lifting alot of weights and bulking up.

Yes I think so too for the last two years of racing I have been quite fit but some rocky sections get me sheesh so I gotta do some cardio.
