Default Dr Mark - My MRI - Can you take a look?

Dr Mark,

I'm wondering if you wouldn't mind taking a look at my MRI pictures and telling me if you can see anything (as I know they don't always show what needs to be shown). After talking to my doc, he and I both agree'd (although the x-ray's didn't show anything) that my meniscus (sp?) is probably the source of the soreness I feel.

He has not seen these and won't until next week, so I'm looking for an opinion before I see him (can't hardly wait, and I certainly can't tell if anything's wrong, other then they look cool )

Anyway, if you could take a peek I'd appreciate it. Everyone else, I thought you all would like to see them as well, since they are pretty cool to look at if nothing else.

Just a quick shot of 2 of the cooler pictures

Also, since these pictures that they burned for me are somewhat small, I have Zipped and included the entire (14+MB) package that has a nifty viewer that shows the pictures blown up so you can see them better.

KneeMRI.zip - Once you unzip it, their will be a shortcut called eFilmLT, you should be able to click on it and it will load the program (if you haven't used it, let me know and I'll give you some pointers as it took me some reading to figure it all out). If that doesn't work, go into the folder and click eFilmLt.exe and it will run.

Anyway, your opinion is greatly appreciated.

On a side note, when I was at the docs, I had my Ankle checked out as well (no x-rays to show though ) and I guess it's pretty jacked up (although I did know that, just not to what extent) and I've got some loose bone and bone spurs as well. I could see them really easily from the x-ray. Any opinion on what to do about those? I see a ankle and foot specialist on Wednesday. I do have the x-rays, but they didn't scan very well, but if you are interested I'll post those as well so you can take a look.

Thanks again,

Woody_CRF

Yeah, I had my meniscus sewn up last year about this time. Not a big deal at all, feels fine now.

It looks like a torn meniscus. It needs a trim, and you should be riding by seven to ten days. Its similiar to what we did on Red Thumper's little girl.

take two avil and call me in the morning.................well my name is Mark. I've seen alot of these so called injuries from honda riders. What happends is the rider walks around the bike kicking it and cussing. Buy 1 blue bike and you should have no further problems. One side effect is a poo eating grin you will have problems with for quite some time.

Hey my son has that side effect. But it comes from passing Yamahas! I tried Jet's advice of duck taping his cheeks but his grin just peels the tape right off. I told him he was going to have a permanent grin but he just keeps passing yami's anyway.
I , on the other hand, try to ride at least one yami every year just to maintain my inner balance with the Force. However, I am very aware of the dark side and I surround myself with positive energy. Long, curly hair tends to ward off most of the dark impressions.

Woody, how did you get the pics? I was never even offered the ones taken of my broken back a few years ago. Would have been nice to have a copy of them, especially digital!
