Dr. Mark posts on here right?

Anyway, I had my ablation surgery about 3 weeks ago and so far things are pretty good, I had 1 or 2 bad days where I went back into the arythmia but other than that I'm good.

Problem is that I'm on Coumadin or Warfarin, my question to you is how dangerous is it to ride while taking this?

Well I'm fine to ride except I'm on coumadin. He didn't say not to but I didn't ask because I knew what his answer would be

Hahaha. What are you talking about though? You have to ride on what? Is it a drug or something? I would take it easy while riding at 1st

dkb1337, Coumadin is a blood thinner.

If Dr Mark doesn't get back to you here, you could try and post either at RiderDown.org or Houstonmotocross.com

What'd they say...3 months on the Coumadin? Good thing you're in Cali...year round riding.

Imagine bleeding to death internally because of a simple lay down and handlebar to the chest...what, r ya nutz?? Also, remember that the meds are still in your system after you stop taking them. We usually take patients off of them for 3-7 days prior to any surgery, but Id wait longer than that to ride if I were you.

I am assuming that you won't be on coumadin forever, right?
Four days after you stop it, you can ride, but your reflexes have deteriorated, so start slow, don't go balls to the wall from the beginning.
