KTM-53.42
Honda-51.80
kawasaki-50.9
yamaha-50.39

Suzuki hadnt finished the 450 when this shootout was done.

If they can make power like that stock with pump gas, then I bet the factory team could make at least 65 modded on race gas.
If they really wanted to, I'm sure they could squeeze upper 70's out of the bikes. But what would you do with 70 hp? 4 hp is a large amount to make off of gas, and chances are that isn't AMA legal. It's not a dyno race, it's a supercross race. Having the right amount of power is more important than having the most.

A while later, not wanting to be outdone, the Canadian pulls out a bottle of champagne, takes a few sips, throws the bottle in the air, pulls out his gun and shoots it. The guy from Michigan can't believe this and says, "What did you do that for? That was an expensive bottle of Champagne!"
The Canadian says "In Canada there's plenty of Champagne and bottles are cheap."
So a while later the guy from Michigan pulls out a bottle of beer. He opens it, takes a sip, takes another sip, and then chugs the rest. He then puts the bottle back in his saddlebag, pulls out his gun, turns around and shoots the Canadian.
The Texan, shocked, says, "Why did you do that?"
The guy from Michigan says, "Well, in Michigan, we have plenty of Canadians, but bottles are worth a dime."

I just want to know how in the world you knew that bottles in MI are worth a dime Pete?

Hmmm......What would I do with 70 HP?What ever I want, never have to worry about overrevving because I would never get out of 2nd gear, lug the whole track but still clear anything, not worry about caseing anything, lug by some one in the whoops,Jump complete sections with one leap.I dont much like supercross anyway,Im into outdoors.
