Cool man , thanks for the information. Its three hours from my place to memphis, have you ever been to the Motosport facility there? I need a better neck brace and really need to be able to try things on. Be nice to go in see what you want and buy it on the spot no waiting...... MX boot fit is crazy My alpine star tech 7s are a full size larger than my wore out tech 8s. Returns are a pain in the butt!

I hear that!

After some research and discovering a stripped gas tank bolt yesterday, I've decided I'm going to do the gen3 plastic upgrade.

Like this 98 cr125 I found. The guy even used the 98 gas tank. Notice its white up top, but he blacked it out on the bottom where the gap is...Looks factory. I've got high hopes. I'm just worried about getting the gas tank/shrouds perfect. The side plates and rear fender I may just cut to my own custom design, so I don't have to change air box or I'll just upgrade it all.

Oh wow. Weird to see this thread bumped. It's somewhat old. From the spring or so at least. Check the restorations and builds section. That entire 98 chassis is for sale still. The motor I just finished installing into a 2003 chassis. Very common conversion. Basically the "best motor/best chassis" deal. Anyway thank you man
