Yeh, I was looking forward to meeting up with you as well. It was pretty cool as he won the West Coast Championships in the 125 and 250 Moriwaki classes. Maybe next year!

Again, I am truly sorry. I am still kicking myself about this.

I know I missed a great time, and yes, I would love to try again next year.

Congrats on the Championship!!

His name is Jake Lewis. He is 13 yrs old and a rocket. He is my primary deal this last year. He won the Moriwaki National Championship last year. It is a CRF250X motor in a Gp chassis. It is what he is on in the picture. He also races an RS125GP bike and does track days on a Honda 600 to get ready for next year. Tdub
Oh yeh, he is sponsored by the Hayden bros and dad Earl.

I watched all three vids. I love the layout of the track. Looks a little dry and hard packed compared to what I am accustomed to but from everything I've read, you guys out west have that as the norm. I reckon I'd have to change tires if I made a trip out there. I'd like to make a few laps on that track.

Seems you have a knack for hooking up with young kids who are rockets.
How do you do that Tdub?
Sure would like to know what is inside that motor and the tranny gears.

Yeah, at that point it was a bit dry. And yes, their is quite a bit of blue groove. They do keep it watered pretty well, but after they water it, it's really slick, so you have to be careful. All in all it's a fun track. It pushes me that's for sure.

I'm not sure what brand the helmet cam is, but I will tell you I wouldn't recommend it The new wide angle ones are a lot better and the mounting system his came with is junk. We finally got it to work pretty good with a lot of duct tape.

And yeah, I know about the gas... I'm very cautious, and later in the day I was clearing most all of the jumps -- but I don't clear anything if I'm not feeling it. I'm too old for a hospital visit.

Yes they allow quads, and it all depends on what direction you are coming from. If you are coming from Lehi, then it is past 5 mile. It's between Tooele and Grantsville. Right next to Miller Motorsports Park.
