Default PROJECT "TRX" IS UNDERWAY-PICS-NICE

here are a few pics of what i got done so far. i have repainted the springs from the old faded blue/whit to a gloss black and polished the shocks. WOW! i also polished the scoops and shifter. the were both a pitiful site. repainted the blingstar bumper to cover up a few dings and chips. ton better. here ya go:

my "new" old bumper, i now call it my "BERG"star and the polished shock/spring.

here are the scoops and shifter. before you never would have seen the shifter:

once this is done totally, she'll be a beute

i think next i am going to pull of the header and silencer. the head pipe is all ate up with baked mud and slight rust. this is where i need a wire wheel grinder.... and a sand blaster! i love how any time i start things like this, i need a "BLASTER" of some sort. i think its telling me something LMAO i am just doing one piece at a time. then i will have room to put everything instead of a big cluster freak. saves time reinstalling it all. pipe, then wheels, then maybe pull motor and get ready to go to the pops! got alot planned. i hope i dont run out of time

i am going to paint the frame jet black. i think it is going to go real good with the silver vein a-arms, black springs, orange plastics next year (maybe sooner) and the shiny chrome. i cant wait to see the totally finished product! biggest project i ever had i get chills thinking about it

here are a few pics of the pipe/silencer. i think the first one is where the insert has a gapping hole in it. will this hurt it??? theres one of the old packing that needs changed. dont look like it ever was since the other guy owned it. the ones of pipe/silencer are after a polish job. the one where i am pointing is what it used to look like. i need to get a wire wheel and clean it out. even though it is tore apart, it looks way better then when i got it LMAO tomorrow i am doing the oil tank, removing swingarm and a-arms, maybe pulling motor. i only hope it aint to hard to do. i have decided to replace the gaskets myself. ill have a few questions on that later and as time gets closer for me to do it. i figured since it needs done, and most of the parts are mud baked, ill take my time and do the jizob right
here are the pics, i am not sure the size of them so if they are to big, maybe one of the mods can re-size them 4 me.

just a throw in. this one is a shot inside of exaust ports. dont look to bad but hard to see IMOP

ill put the rest up when they load. been real slow fo rme

in the above pic of the head, in the center between the exaust holes, you can see where it was blowing oil at. see it real good on the bottom flange, its light, then dark.

here is the head pipe. the whole thing used to look like this. really sad site to see... VIEWER DISCREATION IS ADVISED

and here is the finished product will make ya look tice, i hope.

as you can see i still have a lot of work to do on them. but a million times better then before. where i am pointing at is still there but only because i can scrub it very good. thus where i need to use wire wheel.

I love doing that kind of stuff.
I think you are really getting it to look good. Maybe at the end, you can show us a pic of before and after of the whole thing.
I got some stuff you can do for me
Of, and I like the gloss black...personal favorite probably
Hope you don't run out too soon...
Oh, and that silencer packing...yucky
You do any of that kinda stuff with dirt bikes? :
