| I finally got some time to take my bike for a ride after finishing everything up. It ran pretty good, but fouled 2 plugs after about an hour, so i ran to a local shop and got some more, but they only had BR8ES's (I run BR9EG), so the step hotter actually worked better for me. I fouled one more plug and leaned out the air screw 3/4 of a turn. I think the crazy heat here is causing the extra-rich state. The BR8's combined with the leaned out air screw did the trick, it ran great the rest of the time. I ended up putting 2.1 hours on it by the end of the day. Today was the first time my bike was actually running when I left for the day, no joke. I was alone so there are no good action shots and the video at the end is kind of a joke, but at least i have proof it was running! The pit The spot of my first real wreck. I've dropped my bike before but I actually lost control and fell off fairly hard here. You can see in the pictures how slick it was. My bike after my little spill, just a little mud on the side plate and the bars, lucky! my poor shoulder. haha it's only a little sore, could've been worse! the poor snake that got in my way... not sure what kind it is, but it was the longest non-lethal snake i've ever seen! looks like a knobby got it right in the neck the other cool critter i saw on the trails. you can see how close i was to hitting it, he got lucky! he's hiding! there he is! off the trail and safe. cool shell! random trail picture at home and all cleaned back up. current hour meter. it was at 4.2 when i left this morning not from today, but i think it's a cool picture. yz's aren't good with 2' deep mud. neither are human legs. not a good 15 minutes for me. also not from today, this was before the last rebuild. you can see my goon riding style and redneck riding gear though! like i said, this video sucks, but it's proof that my bike is running fairly decently! now if i just learned to ride........ | Glad that you got her going. Best of all is your stand that thing is dope. It almost lookse like an erector set from when I was a kid(the best toy ever). That thing is dope |

| haha that's exactly what my dad said, an erector set. that's the result of me not wanting to pay for a real stand and a trip to lowes for some angled steel, threaded rod, and some nuts. the top is part of a street sign i've had for a long time. i even cut a hole in it to drain the oil! sure it looked rickety, and it does wobble a little bit, but it'll support the bike with me on it! all for like 10 bucks. |
