In the past week I added, #'s with back ground, FX graphic kit with grip seat cover, shaved stock seat, new UFO shrouds, Devol radiator guards, and a Power Now.

Why would you do that to your seat?

For how I ride, not sitting in one spot all of the time, that would be terrible

It's supposed to help you stay foward on the bike with the 450's, so I gave it a shot

yeah dude the bike is nice but, i aint digging the seat, you should shave the front 2/3 of the seat and leave a step it the back, IMO.

OK, since I was getting negative feedback for the seat, I just did a rush job, so take it easy

I guess I don't see what the big deal is? If the seat works for you, and hopefully it does, then what does everyone else care? It's not like you're the first guy to run a stepped seat?

I didn't get a chance to try it out today, so I shave the front just to be on the safe side.

Just sitting on it doesn't seem to bad and I took off around 2 inches, that should really help my short butt

Even at 6' sumpin.. I liked sitting on his bike last night! The lower feeling rocked! I would love having mine shaved like that for when I get into "bad ideas" in the trails. I understand the concept behind making the bikes tall just fine, but sometimes it really blows!!!!!!!!

First time at trying something is never perfect.. this seat will tell him what he needs to change for the next 6.. I just know lil D! LOL

Oh.. after he did it.. THEN we found out how to really do it! That too is normal around here. hehehee

oh.. and lil D missed a fun ride day today!!!! Had the entire dirty bike facility to muhself.. almost literally!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!! 6 hours of pain baby!!!!!!!!!! well.. maybe 5 if you deduct stop to gasp for air time.

As long as you a tad short, then you did fine on the seat.

For me, you would have shaved too much off, but for you, it should be perfect.
