Yeppers, Shes an 89 CR500R. Brute power is right on bro. I miss that bike sumthin awful. She was my baby. I never rode it after I got my 450 but it would still be nice to have her around just to take a spin on it here and there. Always put a smile on my face when I twisted that throttle.

Freak, it's me "southern pride". Refer to my post on pg. 1 from 2007. I still own my 250 and am actually doing some of my parts as we speak. Just small things like case saver, rear axle block, and spacers to see how it does...

but I'm wondering how your powdered parts have held up over 5 years now???

Considering having my rear hub powdered because it is NOT coming out well after painting, clearing, and sanding. Should have originally sanded out all the casting marks...:/

This thread is like 5 years old lol You can see I posted above, trying to bump it, but I don't think old freak is around anymore

If you see this freak, your 450 was my inspiration 5 years ago...I sold my bike at the time...4.5 years went by, and I bought her back...Does my taste look familiar?? She's got all the treats.

Rad shroud graphic I'm bout to order

That was, and I hope, still is one hell of a 450 and 500 you own/owned. Hope to see you back around here sometime. Thanks for the wheelie tips and vid too

Freak (original poster) is no longer around. This thread's about 5 years old but it's still worth bumping, because his bikes were all that and a cookie crumb.
