Heated Battle Breaks Out Into a Fight!

This vid is of Johnny Marley and Robbie Robertson at the Claremore AX. It looks like Robertson doesn't hold his line very well. But the ridiculous part is when Robbie's dad comes out on the track and jumps on Marley. Luckily, the track officials subdued him. I can understand his anger. But I CANNOT understand his actions!

That was interesting. I didn't think it was that big of a deal?? Why in the world was the Yamaha guy getting beat up, he was the one who got knocked over??? Was it the world championship or something??

Yep, Marley got taken out. But he slaps Robertson and Robertson's dad came out and jumped on Marley. The actual fight is between a young rider(Marley) and another's dad.

I shouldn't be surprised by this I guess. Two years ago I had an "incident" with a riders uncle (or somebody?) when my nephew cut off his nephew in an ATV race. The guy pushed me and everything. I couldn't get over the way the guy was acting. It still shocks me to this day. I guess I just really don't get it.

Isnt "cutting off" an oponent kinda of...I dunno passing??? Are you not supposed to do that in a race? lol sheesh

Didnt look lik mr green did anything wrong really...mr blue should have brushed that off...the guy shouldnt have jumped into the middle of the race to wrestle mr blue...but that jerk had it coming I say

Looked like normal arenacross racing to me. Marley was out of line when he went back to the guy on the Kawi. The Dad was WAAAYYY out of line when he tackled Marley. There would be some fines and expulsions from the grounds if it were my racetrack.

Sigh, this is just another reflection of today's lack of ethics and morals.

The dad was ballsy to attack a guy in full gear.. one head butt and he is in the wagon with flashy lights.

Racing is racing but the Kawi guy should have waited for the Yami guy like when the GOAT beat the King of Supercross for the first time. BTW does anyone have video of that classic battle? I have not seen it and really want to! And that dad was WAAAAY out of line.

I had something similar happen to me a couple years ago at a night race. I was racing 250B and passed a kid for 2nd on the last lap, after the race I was sitting on my chair taking my boots off and his dad came over just livid, saying that I pushed his kid over the berm, when in actuallity all that happened was he was on the outside, I was on the inside, and neither of us let off....he went over the berm, thats racing. I stood up and told the kids father exactly that, and he went away.

Its a good thing they broke that fight up because if you look closely the dad had grabbed the Yami guy's helmet and could have broke his neck. I guess thats why facemasks are such a big in football.

Hey david whats up man i havent talk to any of you guys in a while! yeah i was there and my buddy also got it on video. this video missed the best part where the dad swan dives and tackles marley off his bike. that was by far the most interesting race i have been to with all the fights and crashes... it was my first race back on a quad and i got 5th in pro

Hey man hows it goin? ya i moved to quads and broke my ankle at nationals last feb. and i am just now getttin back into. its kinda secretly cuz im my parents find out im dead lol.. and you really still have that? man if you wouldnt mind can you post it somewhere when ya get time so i can save it to my comp. and how have you been ya still ridin. o and bout the more footage yall should come to the arenacross in tulsa saturday and we can get some footage.

It looked more like a komokazi move to me, he came into the corner way over his head and more or less rammed the yami, did you see how fast the bike was thrown out from under him. the kawi dude was outta line IMO
