I had only seen the helmet cam of Barcia but I came across this one today and it's unbelievable how fast he is through the corners and how much he throws that bike around! Amazing to watch!

Yep that rev limiter is on more than its off.

I liked the perspective of the camera, you can look right at the point of his visor and see, that no mater what he's doing (Except maybe wips) his head is in a direct line above his front fender, and that his front wheel is always pointing in the same direction as his line of site.

Haha yeah that's what i was thinking.. I just watched a video of him riding his 125 on youtube.. and wow! he rides his crf like he rode that cr!! that kid just blows my mind! Definitely gotta watch for this kid...

The kid is amazing. He definately lets it all hang out, and has no fear. Once he matures and settles down a bit on the track, hes gonna be hard to deal with.

I watched a race with him on the 250 the other night. Cant remember the name of the track, but MAN it was a rough track. Barcia was kinda all over the place, but still finished in the top 10 both motos if im not mistaken. The commentators kept saying that theve never seen a rookie ride that agressive right from the start.

I just hope he can learn to shift... He certainly can ride, though I have to wonder if their is a point when scrubbing actually becomes counter productive...

You make an interesting point.

The amount of energy used just in his jumping could hurt him in longer races. But I guess it's hard to knock a riding style of someone so fast.

The more I've thought about it, I really think he could be faster if he learns to shift and ride the bike in the power. He spends a lot of time in the part of the power band that is losing power.

Woody makes an excellent point. Imagine how fast he'll be when he figures out that shifter pedal thing...
