Monster traction, and the handling and control is greatly increased with the 7" wide tire.

"Shock Pros" shock cover. 97 CR500 with FAT PADDLE conversion $1495. Never broke a chain. This bike hooks so hard you can pull holeshots with the best of quads, just HANG ON.

The swing arm must be a bit to the right to allow the chain to stay straight, or did you modify the counter sprocket location by shifting the motor to the left?

Yeah, the KX500 and YZ450 have been sold, the CR500 is my personal bike. We're building a KX250 and a CR250 right now. What part of Oregon are you from?

dang those are sick.. would be fun to try one of those out on my crf 450 down here in St. Anthony's! How do they perform compared to the standard 8-paddle tire? obvious a lot more traction! but weight wise, this would have to be a much heavier set up right? how noticeable is it? How does it affect the handling? That just looks sick, props!

We built one for my buddys CRF450. His bike handles beautifully with no more scarry death wobbles. The conversion only weighs 8LBS more than stock. The only way you know it's there is cause your hooking up so hard and blowing through the turns so easy. He ran an 8 paddle before and all it did was spin and dig holes.
