Agreed, @Heddletown just leaves me wondering how hard was the transgression from MX to Enduro?

I actually started riding, I guess more free riding in the mountains of BC, Canada from a very young age than eventually got into the FMX scene when that movement started in the late 90's in USA. I did pretty well at that for near 10 years than retired in 2006 and got back into riding (enduro style) at a slower easier pace.. and safer and decided to take photos and videos of what I now do!! Never did race motocross more than once!

I raced MX because no one would race off road with me .

MX is awesome for Improving corner speed in the woods. Big time!! Both disiplines compliment each other IMO.

Just watched your latest edit. Luv ya work mate .
You're vids are very enjoyable to watch.

Interesting story, hopefully without the usually accompanying injuries.

I used to love jumping, that's all we did. Took a break and rode road bikes for a while, got back on the MX'er and didn't have the balls. Still did OK with the racing though.
Then took another shorter break while I checked out some other hobbies, came back and I'm even worse.
Never had a decent crash over a jump or anything, so buggered if I know why. It's a mental brick wall and confidence thing. If I like the landing I'm not too bad. If I don't, I can't even force myself to have a crack at it these days.
Kills me, if I could still jump properly, I'd still be racing MX. On which case, I'd still be fit.

yea I know how you feel ..im no longer going to hit the big gaps..i had a real bad crash back in the late 90's that left me with broke arm 3 broke ribs and punctured lung in 2 places. it took me a long time to start riding like that again.
I'm 48 yo and its time to let go of the (sack up) type jumps/riding
