I guess my 1st question is, is this a Chinese made quad???

Most ofthe ones I've seen are pretty much junk. I've never heard of either manufacturer before??

I'm all for new high performance atvs, but for some reason, I have my doubts that this thing is truly putting out that much HP.

Even the YFZ 450 is putting out less than 40 HP to the rear wheels in stock condition. The YFZs that are totally BUILT are barely getting into the lower 50's!

We'll have to see if this thing actually goes anywhere??

Thanks for the link! I did a bit of reading about the company, and it sounds like the actual ATVs are made in Taiwan and China.

Here is a link to their "about us" page. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Here is the story of their history. I took the liberty of highlighting the part I am talking about. Although I hope it is all they claim, I am not going to drop 6 grand on one just yet

See below>>

"In 1992, Juan Villegas, the oldest grandson, began traveling to Asia (Taiwan & China) searching for powersports products to introduce to America. The motorcycle market worldwide had been in constant growth for decades and the Villegas family saw a great opportunity to complement the market with more affordable products. At that time, there were few motorcycles from China being sold in the American Continent. The traditional Japanese and European brands had been controlling the market for decades and the opportunity to complement them was immense. Cooperation and manufacturing agreements were signed with the biggest motorcycle manufacturers in China and Taiwan and the products were first introduced in Latin America in 1994."

I know that UM also makes bikes. I rode one when I was in Ft. Riley,KS. Their 250 felt almost just like a YZ250. Just shy of the power though. If this quad is as realiable as their bikes, they will sell good. They are a smaller company but popular in the UK from what I understand. Yea, rear looks like a Raptor, front looks like a Z400. Different thats for sure

My friends at the Holeshot here in Houston sell both UM & Hyosung motorcycles & Hyosung used to make lots of stuff for the Suzuki SV 650 & GSX-R under contarct.

My friend said that they have very little problems with the Hyosung's that they sold. parts seem to be no problem.

It looks a lot like the Zuk 400 and knock-offs.

I wouldn't be surprized if the nerfs for one of those would fit this.
