Default TTR125l suspension conversion>?

     

I was wondering if you can put a yz 80 rear spring on a TTR125L? PLEASE help!

You cant.

You can swap forks out for yz80 components, but if you are riding the bike that hard, its time for a competition bike. (125, 250F)

Like dell said a YZ80 rear shock or spring will not work. You can swap YZ80 forks and I have done it. I can post pics and information if you need it. Have you tried BBR fork and shock springs yet?

DBK,

No offense, but after seeing you ride, the best thing you can do for yourself is to upgrade. You beat the hell out of that bike. I really think you would enjoy a 80/85cc (though it might be too small) or a 125 or 250F a lot more.

Just my opinion. I know money is tight for your dad, but that bike is not fast enough for you, and your abilities are waaaay beyond what that bike was made for.

I'm surprised that bike hasn't broken in half!! The best way to upgrade the suspension on the TTR is to jack up the gas cap and slide a YZ125 under it.

Tell the old man to bust loose with some cash.
