| simple question ive got a2006 cr250 r and i wanted to pull the swingarm took the nut off the piviot bolt and linkage bolt but the piviot bolt didnt budge this bike isnt abused or chain hasnt hacked into swingarm pivots smooth everythings loose and you know honda has the hollow bolts my question is the bolt is supposed to drive out right |

| You will need to drive out the pivot bolt with a hamer and punch but be careful not to damage the threaded end of the pivot bolt. You might need to machine the end of the punch with a pilot to fit the end of the pivot bolt. The reason it won't come out easy is it's rusted internally. That happens when the bike gets washed and/or it's been ran through water. This is one reason you should always dis-assemble new bikes (also used ones) and grease all the bearings and areas where it's been greased. Hope this helps.... |
