Default Suspension Help Needed

HONDA CR250 2001. I recently maintenanced the forks and seals and upon reinstallation I noticed that the rebound clicker on one of the forks won't dial all the way in to the full position. It continues to turn without ever stopping. I set the rebound by turning 7 clicks from "out" rather than "in". What' s causing this?

How many clicks out did you go before you realized it wouldn't stop? I can go 22 which seems like it takes forever... I'd dissasemble and check the rod that runs from the rebound clicker up to the rebound valve stack and make sure it's in good condition. I'd also make sure that you properly tightened the retaining nut on the shaft against the rebound clicker assembly. Make sure to check for proper operation before reassembly.
