Default Fork Compression clickers

I have a YZ250 1991 model, I got this second hand and the previous owner told me he got this bike from the US and brought it here and it was a 1992 model and so I bought a service manual for a 92 YZ250 from ebay. When I checked the engine numbers, I found out that it really is a 91 model (3xk-...)...
I would just like to confirm if it really has no compression adjustment screw at the bottom of the forks or the previous owner swapped the forks for an older model. And if it has no compression clickers, how do I adjust them if am bottoming out on really big jumps?. Thanks in advance for your replies

I am confident the compression screws are at the bottom of the forks under small rubber caps (might be missing).

BUT - if you are bottoming out, you might need a suspension make-over. Who knows how long it's been since the forks and shock have been rebuilt. Cooked oil can cause the dampening to suffer. This would be a good start - freshen up your suspension fluids and service your rear suspension linkage.

Record what you do and when for future reference.

Thanks for the reply mxtras... i'll try to flip the bike over as soon as I get home. But if I can't find it, I'll take a picture and post it here.

No need to flip the bike over.

If the rubber caps are missing, the screws are likely going to be hidden under dirt. Some cleaning might be required.

Again - I strongly urge you to re-do the suspension fluids and set the suspension up correctly. These bikes require maintenance.
