01 cr250 woods bike

Have changed a motocrosser over to a woods bike. Changed. Everything but suspension settings.

I'm 5'6" 200 lbs. What advice can you give. I don't do motocross jumps. Just extreme woods riding.

I would start with getting the correct springs for your weight and riding. MX-Tech.com - MX-Tech Suspensions – Motocross, Enduro & Supermoto suspension can help you get started. Then you'll really just need to ride it and see what you don't like about it.

Being as the OEM stuff is set for tracks though, I wouldn't be surprised if you end up getting a revalve.

I personally would start by clicking your compression clickers out 4 clicks from the stock setting and going from there.

Sweet , I will make the changes asap ! I have literally changed this entire bike -minus suspension. Most people don't even know what it is.

The headlight and tail light was the best upgrade. Than the motor. Last was tire selection. "Michelin S-12 front and rear. "Rear was switched to 18 inch and went as wide as possible !
