I am sure alot of people have seen or can figure out the conversions before. However I am a dummy so here is what I found

you are not a dummy, that is a good informational post. I constantly hear people ask this question. I use the conversion chart in my Rocky Mountain catalogue to tell the sizes. I started when all you got was the S.A.E. sizing on the tires. Now very few Mfg. use these size indicators. Well done.

If you really want to be confused look at Michelins offroad tires. I just bought some M12s that are actually measured differently and there for marked diffrently. A 130 is actually a 110 and so on. Man is it confusing.
