I don't know how many of you have seen this, but I came across it trying to find more info about jetting on the net. Very long but it really helped take me the next level on understanding jetting and how it all works. Good read.

For years SUDCO has published a carburetor manual. It lists lots of models of carburetors which are not exacly what you call current anymore. I wish they would update it to include some of the Keihin models (maybe they have I don't know it) that are coming on new 4 strokes. It was 10.00 and apparently is a reprint by license from Mikuni. Still worth the 10.00 dollars IMO. It also lists available jetting and explains more about how jet sizes are derived, needles etc.

101 here does a very good job of explaining vacuum and reduced pressure.
