 Valve Shim Guides This is from Woody_CRF and Don Lackey at TT. Okay, so I have new info from another guy at TT. He did an excellent job of putting together some instructions (that are linked to this post) to explain how his calculator works. I have also linked the spread sheet that will help you figure out what shims you need based on where they are currently at. He did an excellent job. His name is Don Lackey. So thanks Don, and Excellent Job. This also includes a Calculator for Yamaha's. You can also right click on these links and say save as if you would like to download them to your computer. | Re: Valve Shim Guides The YZF shop manual has an excellant shim chart...I will get it photoed tomorrow and try to post...it would work for both the YZF and CRF. Tdub |
