Default Restoring 1981 RM 250 air cooled Need all parts

This is the last year for air cooled and the first for the full floater. I just bought the swing arm and the frame. Still need everything else. Vintage suzuki and ebay is about all i can seem to find. The big item is a air-cooled 81 RM 250 motor. Seems almost everything else is enter changable from 81-83 Let me know if you guys have any parts or have ideas or where to get some.

Thanks

bye the way this is a great site

Yahoo has a few Suzuki boards with info and kinks.

I'm working on an 82 PE175 and haven't had much luck with the local Zuki dealer getting me stuff. Alpha Sports has been recomended and I will use them for my next order.

Also try this board Aussie for info.

Post on Craigslist, I posted that I was looking for a PE175 and found a deal. Guy returned email and had a nice one for cheap, needed a rod but he had one he had never put in the bike and threw it in for free, and also 2 parts bikes to boot. Now I'm looking to build 2 complete bikes out of 3 bikes.

those were great bikes
You dont see too many of them around
I remember 2 of my friends having troubles with the main bearings on the stator side spinning in the case.Keep an eye out for that when you are buying a motor
