I can't seem to find the rules on this....what detirmines when your sig will be displayed when you post? I know sometimes it shows mine and sometimes it don't. does it display it everyother post or so?

I think it displays the first post in each page of a thread.

Yep, only supposed to show up once per page I think.

You can also choose to disable it on your own if you use the quick reply.

This particular topic is kind of weird...

Basically, if you don't type enough words (> 50 I think) it doesn't show your sig. Then it will only show your sig one time, but that's if it meets the 50 words or more requirement. I can't remember if I set it for 50 words or what it's at, but it's somewhere around that #.

Hope that clears it up.

I think it was 50, but not sure, TF. You DEFINITELY need a custom one though. I think the only limits are 100x100 and 19.5kb file size.

You should use the pic I posted of you.

Hey guys! I am new here and was just wondering where on your control panel that you can insert your sig. I looked everywhere! Ha! But I was reading some of the posts and do you have to post so many times before you can insert your sigs and a custom avatar or how does it work? Thanks in advance!

Not sure if its changed, but I think at last check you needed greater than 50 posts to use a custom avatar??

As far as where you go to do it, look at the upper part of your screen. There should be a user CP (control panel). Thats where you'd insert your avatar.

Thats a good Question. I'm not sure about that?? I've been here so long, it has not been an issue for me for YEARS!!

Perhaps Woody or Motoman, or one of the other mods can clarify this for you???

For some reason I think you might have to have a certain # of posts for a sig too, but things have changed a few times, so I'll let someone else chime in here
